I thought it would be a good idea to have a master list of all our different collection areas. That way we can check here to see if we have something a member might like. So please indicate: Your geographic area of collection, collection date range (if applicable), type of collections (ODFCs, general covers, sheet, s individual stamps), anything you specifically are looking for or specifically do NOT need.. etc
My collection usually consists of Philippines stamps from late 90's to modern era. I have some US stamps given by some good friends. I collect mostly anything as long as it is stamp.
U.S. 1847 - 2000 (stamps, sheets, covers, blocks, possessions & ephemra) Germany approximately 1860 to 1980's (stamps, covers, blocks, German area, colonies & ephemra) China 1990 - current ( stamps, sheets, covers) World - smattering of dates, countries and collections (stamps & covers) Not looking for anything specific
I collecting Great Britain, British Empire and Commonwealth companies. I include modern independent countries once part of the empire or commonwealth I also collect the following countries since I'e been there: Germany, Austria, Czech Repbulic, Spain, France. I include former countries that were once a part of these, or dead countries that the above belonged to (ex: Czecholosvakia) I'm still in the early stage, so trying to formulate what I collect. I'm tending towards historic or older stamps for Canada and GB commonwealth/empire I find I'm especially drawn to India stamps. Right now, good quality used is my main collection. I do have a few sheets, think I'll keep these for special interests.
World pre 1945, commonwealth pre independence, France and colonies, Germany (Even though this one has lapsed somewhat) Mini Sheets, GB but only when I get them used these days, GB booklets
US (separate collections of mint and used singles; plate blocks [1920's to current]; mint sheets [1940's to current - mostly topical or whatever piques my interest]) Canada ( I've somehow ended up with three separate collections - one is mostly mint) World-wide - mostly used (less emphasis on Africa and middle east) I've recently resorted to ordering stamps thru stamps2go.com It allows me to fill in the missing blanks on my album pages. Most are common postage, but for some reason never got included in the 'mission mixtures' I used to buy. Generally, a pretty inexpensive way to build by specific country collections. Just purchased something like 150 Italian stamps from 4 different vendors. That should put me close to 1800 stamps in that collection. Previously, it was Germany, then France.
My principal focus is on Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands and Aland in the North and South Georgia Island, British and French Antarctic Territories and Europa stamps. I do however collect just about everything to some extent. Used and Mint are both of Interest, as are Christmas Seals from the North Atlantic.
Mostly early US, US 3 cent and 4 cent plate blocks, some Finland. Also have world stamps but not a focus.

I like to collect any kind of vintage stamps. Usually the ones that came out in the 1950's spark my interest. Here are some examples of some influence faces on stamps. What do you guys think?
