I like stamps featuring historical events, cars and beings the most. I also like the odder stamps, such as the ones featuring road signs.

    What about you?

I like the stamps that aren't self-adhesive. They create too much work to get them off the envelopes. Almost not worth while to collect used copies of them.

I like all types and kinds of stamps but I am really fond of stamps with nature and historical structures on it.

I like the older stamps also. I rapped up my U.S. collection at year 2000 and my German collection at the mid 1980's. The only modern stamps I collect are China, which thus far doesn't make any self-adhesives. I must confess I really like the revenue stamps on documents, the match and medicines stamps of the U.S and other back of the book stuff.

I just like the ones with cool pictures. The pictures that I like just depend on my mood...there isn't any particular topic. I don't focus on the valuable ones or anything like that...I just buy what I like. Maybe that isn't the best way to collect, but that's what I like.

I thinking buying what you like is the best way to collect. That's what I do.

i don't like self adhesive too. I still haven't finish my australia kiloware because they are unfortunately self adhesive. Though i manage to extract some of them properly, but it require a little bit of time than the normal one.

I like to collect landscape and architectural stamps.

I favor definitive series or commemorative sets with six or more stamps. Most collectors don't care much for definitives, dismissing them as "common." However, there are typically enough of them in a set or series to fill a page nicely and offer a wide range of colors as well. For mostly the same reasons, I will put sets of commemoratives in my albums for variety of size and colors, and, occasionally, for the subject(s) commemorated. What I dislike most about commemorative sets is the dealer practice of selling them only as complete sets. Since I collect primarily postally used stamps I frequently come across short sets of commemorative. It is very difficult to find just one of two of a commemorative set offered for sale, especially if one is seeking the higher value stamps.

For actual use, I do like the self-adhesive. I like the non-self-adhesive for collecting, though. And I do think that is a very nice collection! :)

I like all types of stamps but especially the ones that show the era. These for example of the Ringling Bros Shows. Cool?

Fabulous stamps tmbits! I haven't seen those Burundi stamps before and appreciate being able to see them. The U.S. commeratives are familiar "friends". :)

Lots of great looking stamps here. Stamps with historical places and religious images are really nice.
