Yeah, I'd have to say I don't like that one either. It's not so much an ugly stamp as it is a stamp with an ugly personality on it. If he had been a different person so much would have been different, but that stamp is a little piece of bad history there.
Indian Feudatory States stamps are known to be pretty rough looking, and are widely referred to as "uglies". Even the Wikipedia article on them says "due to the very basic nature of the printing and design, stamps of the Feudatory states are often informally referred to as "uglies"." Ugly or not they look pretty interesting though!
Yep, I guess that's why I like German stamps printed in 1945 and later , 'cause he ain't on 'em no more!
