Yes can the rules be posted soon, as lack only seems to be favouring the very strongly opinionated. I know this is a private club now and that there was no election for officers, but to have ones opinions needlessly censored does not seem satisfactory to the newer members of the club. Surely the club only gains by having a broader spectrum of opinion. Yet certain individuals are getting angry and threatening when their own opinions are not blindly accepted as gospel. I am sure this was not your intention when you created the club Peter.
Also the club is staring to look sexist too, no female officers. I am sure you will be only too willing to look at these points asked by a well loved mother of three who was badly messaged this morning simply for disagreeing with another opinion.

If I may make an observation here, bullying is something that is perceived by the victim, what ever the intention of the person who feels they are guilty of no slight.
Sometimes the responsibilty of someone put in a position of trust is to try and empathise, not to mock and abuse one's power. I see no humour in this exchange.
I do have some grounding in this sort of thing, before I am in turn challenged.

 

Rules have been requested over and again. It would seem that they are simply, 'agree and have no thoughts of your own or leave'. I would suppose one way around this is to only respond to members who can remain courteous, as some do not seem to understand what courtesy is anymore. Being fair, that is true of people in general now a days though, not just in this clique ridden club.

So let me see if I have this right
I am not allowed to tell a member that they can not post a political comment?
I am not allowed to tell a member that Scotland and Wales are not in fact indipendent?
I am not allowed to point out to members that Scotland/Wales?Ulster only have Diffin stamp not Commems?
I am not allowed to tell members that Self Adhesive stamps are hard to remove?
I am not allowed to tell a Member that Antiques are objects normally over 100 years old and not simply something that is no longer made?
I am not allowed to tell a member that there comment that a Antique is something that is no longer made is silly?
I am not allowed to edit posts that I consider rude or offensive?
I am not allowed to tell members that items of phillately that are over 100 years old hardly ever came in packing?
I am not allowed to tell members that Presentation packs are not in fact antiques but are modern?

I would just like to state that it has never been my intention to offend on this site. Sometimes humour is not adequately conveyed by words alone when tone and inflection are absent. So to anyone who has been upset by my opiniions on here, I am very sorry.

 

Please explain how your suggestion would diffuse the behaviour of an opinionated and annoying individual? What you are essentially asking for is 'more information' without offering a solution really. Providing more information will not stop someone from being annoying. What a bizarre and useless suggestion. [Yes...I have been reading the forums here] Sorry....my opinion.

 

I think the post is rather self evident in that it is asking the seller to provide information regarding his sale? why do you have a problem with that?

I asked what he would take for a item
what the cat number of it is
what his shipping charges were

Go on to any auction site in the world and they give this info
