OK I diligently worked on mine all day and am finally DONE I.D.-ing them. WHEW!! I used "Ask Phil" and "1847.com" to assist me. I couldn't have done it without that S.G. detectamark gizmo! Thank you Steve!! I'm so happy right now..lol

Here are a few GREAT pages for I.D.-ing your Washington Franklin issues.

This one is priceless for these:

I find them relatively easy going now. I any of you have a pile you need sorted I'm your guy! lol
While I don't have many of these yet I do think they are pretty handsome. Sort of comparative to the Machins in color and the minute details you must locate to ID.

OK, I'm done gloating now... :p

Thank you Steve. Many of them I have had since childhood and are in desperate need of upgrading to sound and better centered copies but I still enjoy them. I really can't see ever parting with them because of the memories so I'll just squirrel them away and pass them on. I'm in the process of making a chain of ownership and instructions of what to do incase of the worst and documentation of whats contained therein so the heirs are not left scratching their heads. Sorry for the rambling it's early here...haha
