Those Einstein stamps look great, I might have to take you up on that offer once I have a proper place to store them.
These are a pretty good set as the face goes, but there are a few marks on the back glue of the top two. The bottom two are perfect front and back.
Sounds good! I'm just starting out, so quality isn't a TOP priority for me, but still important. Once I get a binder and all, I'll see about sending an offer your way. Thanks for the response!
Good for you, you will be surprised with the amount of historical information that goes into why a particular stamp was made. There are plenty of resources like mysticstamp.com that not only sells stamps particularly US but also gives a short history lesson about most of them. Anyway I am pretty sure I can help you out in many ways and very-very reasonable. The binders I use are White Ace, they can be added to little by little as new stamps come out and not bad looking. If you want to talk more, I am at clyde.mansfield@yahoo.com or on skype @clydemansfield.
Thanks Clyde, I appreciate the contact info. That will help in the future if we start doing sales/trades. MysticStamp has been good to me in my quest figuring out stamp collecting, especially when it comes to pricing (though it won't be my only point of reference) I didn't know they also provided historical info on some stamps. I'll have to start searching there more. Thanks again!
Just go to their web site and on the left side click on US Stamp Album and you will get the front page. Next on the menu, click on the go to page button and click on page number 3, that's where the stamps start. From there click on any stamp photo or number which will take you to the individual stamp page. There you will see a large photo with values, description and history. From there you can just enter any other stamp number in the search block and it will take you there or you can scroll by clicking the next button on the right. Have fun with that, I do.
