Two German Stamps Issues 1934 Sale or Exchange

    Hi the 1st are actual German stamps and not to be confused with issues of Saarland itself

    Hi Steve. Yes you are correct. I did put Germany in front of the issue name. As I understand these stamps were issued to support the referendum that was about to take place in Saarland over the future of what I now believe is the smallest, non city, state in Germany.

    :) it was the "Saarland stamps" bit which might have been confusing if a person was unfamiliar with the issues from both areas
