A litttle surprising, but the auction prices on Newfoundland stamps seem to be at or near catalog values rather than the nominal 25-40% for typical US or Canada. I know 'casue I just lost out on two separate stamps in the last seconds, and I wasn't willing to go higher than catalog value.

I have been a customer of tantrumstamp in the past and have noticed their adverts on here. I know they specialise in Commonwealth and their prices are very competative ask steve logan. maybe you should ask them what they have? I think they work normal office hours out of Yorkshire. Just a thought Mr. Taylor.

    Larry,
I dont know much about Newfoundland stamps or there value. You might want to give stamps2go.com a try. I have bought many stamps from the site, and yet to have a problem.

    Hope this helps,
    Kris

I'm not adverse to buying from dealers. It's just that I ususally get better prices on the auctions. At some point when the stamps I'm looking for don't routinely appear on the auction sites, then I start with the dealers. Just bought 4 Canal Zone from a dealer, and have a Canadian shopping list headed my way from another dealer. The Canadians I need don't generally show up in the auctions 'cause they're the low value definitives, or maybe I need one out of a se-tenant set.
