I just tried it on ebay using free account. I am not really serious about it and just look if someone will be intersted on my stamps. :D

As Keywood French mentioned the cost of postage these days is quite substantial. The APS has mailing standards and the cost isn't cheap. I think you make a great point, there are better options.

Thanks for telling me that my attitude is good, I've never thought about my attitude being good towards my stamps. I feel like I really neglect them, especially since I don't even know exactly where they are in my house.

I do need to make the time to find them. That entails organizing a whole slew of things in my house, a massive undertaking, but I really do need to make the time to do it because it is important.

As to the title of this thread... should get my friends to sign in and tell of their sales volumes...

I did a quarterly summary with my stamp accounts and found out that, between 1/1 and 3/20 I have 'invested' 5 figures... that is a LOT of $$ but I have averaged paying less than 25% of "Scott Catalog Value" so the overall investment is huge! These holdings are Worldwide, not just US.

But I am a little shocked that I didn't know until I did the books... have to be more careful with the auctions... 3 good friends (sellers) are getting out of the business and I took advantage of the fire sales of each to help them out. Stamp sales are sluggish in general...
