Do you have any other 1869 Pictoral series?
I have the Pony Express and the Train... the rest are just holes.

I'm kinda diggin that Scranton precancel.
Not sure why, I don't collect precancels (yet), but I find them attractive (so I might start collecting them).

i don't have any other extras from the series, but i have the 10¢ shield and eagle to go along with the post rider and train.

if you do decide to collect precancels, i have quite a few of them. i just might have to post some more pics on here. ;)

I am trying to put together a set of used Prexies in attached pairs.
I have a strong start of pairs attached horizontially, or vertical pairs.
    I have 1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 6c, 10c, 12c, 15c, 20c, and 25c, in both horz pairs and vertical pairs.
The 7c, 8c, 9c, I only have in horizontial pairs.
The odd values between 10c and 20c are hard to find in any sort of used pair.
I have the 30c in horizontal, and the 50c in vertical.
I am sure I am forgetting some, but this is a general summary of what I am trying to do.
I don't care to have both horz and vert pair sets, just one or the other.
I was going through my loose stamp hoard and noticed that I have tons of Prexies in strips of 2, 3, 4, and more stamps.
So I thought it would be a cool thing to see all of them, 1c to 50c in pairs.
Just a pointless bit of fun. I told myself that I wouldn't go outside my hoard to make the set, but I am so far along with it now, I figure a couple obtained outside the hoard might be alright just to get the set as complete as possilbe. I also have about half the set in squares (non-PB) of 4, but the possibilities/choice is much better with pairs.

    Make sense?
Got any odd value Prexies used in either a vertical or horizontal oriented pair?

Let's see if I can link this pic...
"Prexie" is a slang term within the hobby for an old Presidential series of stamps.

I appreciate... I have that one.
    The ones I need are oddball denominations like 4.5c, 11c, 18c, 19c, 22c, 24c...

The Pony Express stamp is very cool. I only have one Locomotive. Just posted some sheets for trade if you're interested.
