Stamps for............?

I will swap any of these stamps for anything you have that takes my fancy.
I would prefer George V.
I will consider anything stamp related though; e.g. stockbook, mini sheet, some nice tongs and so on.

Now the problem here is how is someone to contact you as you said you coudnt receive messages via the site inbox and I know you wont publish your name and details in the forum?

 

I have friends who will let me use their address, is that okay?

 

Sorry but I will remove any addy that is posted in a thread it is not fair on your friends to put there details in a open forum when you wont put your own, they run just the same risk as you would. This is why we have the messaging system on the forum and I do not understand why you say that you can not use it, you manage to use all the other functions.

I do not have your email nor do I know why you claim to have given it to me, but I will tell you once again that if you publish any ones address on this forum I will remove. You seem to worry about your own details but are happy to allow the details of another to be published in a open forum!! Sorry that is not on and this is why we have a messaging system for privacy and safety.
Please do not think that I am picking on you with this I remove any such posted by any member. I also warn them of the dangers of posting personal email details to use a throw away if needed.

Your prerogative, I still do not know why you can not use the forum messaging system no one else has a problem with it and it is compatible with all systems

 

as a moderator i do not have access to the details you entered on joining the site, this includes your email, and i am sure it is the same for Steve R, and to be honest why would i email when i am already in this program.
i do email members but only when sending scans of stamps i have for their personal approval.

so i do not believe myself or Steve have your email and you should like every member on here start using the messaging program, as it is part of the server and if it did not work for you it would not work for anyoine else?

Yes Steve you are correct, no one can message me. Some have tried. I have put my emailon the profile page and you are more than welcome to use that or message me in the Exchange, I am happy with either.
I am also experincing a problem with corrections. If I try to retype its wipes out the next letter, does anyone else have this problem and do they have to use further options to send messages (I do)

 

p.s. I have checked into moderators and do not know what they are, what sort of stamps do you have to have to be one. I cannot find any mention of them in my Catalogue. Sorry if this seems a naive question, but please remember I'm new to all this [still)

 

i can see your email on your profile, i meant we do not have access to the email you used to join?

• Receive email when a new conversation message is received
  Email notifications for new conversations, replies to existing conversations, and being added to an existing conversation.

Are the above all ticked off in your profile ?​
