Hi everyone. I was wondering whether anyone knew of any statistics regarding philately that are to be found online; especially things like in which country is stamp-collecting the most popular, estimates of how many stamp-collectors world wide, etc. Thanks
I've recently been working on writing some articles about stamp collecting for the NON-philatelic press, and needed some of this kind of information-- however, found very little. It surprised me a little, but it seems that although stamp collectors use the internet extensively to buy and sell, they don't use it nearly as much to just share information... Anyway, the facts and figures I needed for my (not yet published) articles I had to dig up from a wide range of web sites, not one central location. Cheers, Peter
