These covers are from my US Presidents' collection, didn't realise how many were from dealers etc. until I looked closer... (1 is the reverse of 2, showing 1912)

 

Very valuable stamps,if genuine.
Strange to me is,the address in New York.
The stamps were issued for letters to Le Havre on order
of the french consul general in New York.
So an addressee in France would make sence.

p.s.:
The cancel on the letter reads New York-Le Havre.
For mail to New York from Le Havre,
the cancel should read Le Havre-New York.
