That is a nice looking set from 1953. They have a British colonial look, which I guess should be expected since Tonga was still a British protectorate in 1953. Don
Because crest and long tail look like coats doctor wore in 1800,s. I thougt you know everything about stamps.
Another "one of a kind": New Guinea (the former german colonie Deutsch Neuguinea),issued 1925. From a set of 13,all of the same design and to expensive for me to look for completion.The set was overprinted in 1931 as air-mail.
