As you might know, I'm focusing a large part of my collection on items from my home city, Salinas, CA. The first item I purchased was a First Flight from 1946 to Baltic Connecticut. You'll also notice the giant lettuce on stamp, which is fitting since Salinas is known as the "Salad Bowl of the World". What do you all think? On a side note, for some reason whenever I see the name on this (W. A. Turner) I think of Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean. lol View attachment 701
Oh wow, thanks ratio. I consider myself more Central California, but California in general is the next level of my collecting after Salinas, so that works. The topical album page is great, and I actually recognize a few of them that were given to my by other members and/or purchased on BidStart. I'll download it for sure.
