here's how it works: Post a stamp that has some flaw, the rest of us have to guess with the flaw is. It can be anything 'amiss' such as damage, a set with a stamp that doesn't belong etcetc Whoever guesses correctly posts the next
Yes, I use photobucket to post images here. It is probably the easiest way to do it. I don't know if you saw my comment on another thread?
I'm going to try Photobucket for images. The major weakness with this forum setup is the uploading. Anyway, here is one of my stamps. I found out there's a problem with it.. Can you figure out what it is?
Sorry, Hochstrasse. I missed your second stamp. Tu7, correct about perforation. The stamp, in fact, has been cut off at the perforated side. A piece of it is missing: Here's a link to the complete stamp: http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-42729457/stock-photo-canada-circa-rebirth-by-jackson-beardy-circa.html The "A" missing the bar is simply a stylistic element, not an error. (To be fair, I copied the image and cut out the section that's missing...I do have a 'real' stamp with this issue. It's the one taht gave me the idea for this game.)
That was a tough one. I thought the stamp was complete and had a straight edge on the left side. I was completely stumped. LOL!
I can understand this you might have thought it a booklet stamp. Obviously I, a mere girl knew better ha ha ha [teasing]
I have two of these stamps, had them for years and didn't realize it had a section missing until I saw it in my new album. I even checked scott catalogue to make sure. Sure enough, the bars are cut out on both stamps. So, now I need a *proper* stamp of this kind. Glad you like the game. I thought it would be a good way learn to look critically at stamps, and how to evaluate them
