    of cancelling ?

    The 2 is weak curved and thin and does not line up with the month, compared to 2 in 1894 is bold and lines up with Jan ,All so The killer cancel lines Are 1893 type with vertical lines not horizontal. . .The real first day was Dec,31, 1892. That would be a nice cancel to find on stamp.
