If I select US stamps at ebay, it breaks it down to different catagories.....

    United States
    19th Century: Unused (15,247)
    19th Century: Used (29,666)
    1901-40: Unused (36,457)
    1941-Now: Unused (46,432)
    1901-Now: Used (21,379)
    Back of Book (81,385)
    Confederate States (1,031)
    Covers (253,512)
    Errors, Freaks, Oddities (12,388)
    Plate Blocks/Multiples (32,133)
    Plate Number Coils (4,125)
    Possessions (12,315)
    Postage (1,390)
    Sheets (24,032)
    Collections, Lots (12,790)

Then you can search the group/area of stamps you are looking for.
