My First Album has arrived!!!!

Look everyone; I have a stamp album.
Now all I need is some stamps ha ha ha View attachment 1967 View attachment 1968 View attachment 1969

 

There is even greaseproof paper in between facing pages to save the stamps from getting overcooked!!!​

 

Sorry to inform you that won't keep them from getting 'overcooked' - but it will make them easier to peel off when they are.

Rather nice, how many pages has it? I like the brass corners as well

I still have a pending offer to you w.r.t. sending you some MINT! George V stamps (and a couple of cancelled ones too).

BTW, Canada probalby has the most extensive selection of George V stamps what with all of the various series they put out between 1920 and 1935? with his depiction.

 

At the top of the page just below the stamp exchange banner is a row of titles Next to the one that says your user name you will see one calle "Inbox" simply place your cursor over it and you will see a new box called "Conversations" it will show you the messages you have click on one of them to reply to that message

 

It has 24 pages. The corners are gold plated!!!​

The size is 180x250x27​

I think you have to have so many messages before it starts working Larry, not to worry I am patient. Very nice of you to offer me stamps, but I am not in America so I would insist upon buying them. If you post them in the for sale section detailing postage I would be certainly interested. I am not sure how many messages I have to have posted before I can start buying but someone will know I am sure.​

 

As far as I am aware you can use the messaging system as soon as you register as a member As for buying you can do that whenever you and the seller agree something but you have to do the arrangements via the messaging system

 

Mine is not working Steve, but I have not been on the site 14 days yet, so I am not disappointed.​

you do not have to be here any length of time, they should be at the top in your in box next to your name on the right?

 

When I click on it Steve I get the spinning circle and then lose the page. I am using explorer 9 maybe it is a compatability problem with the site and my software. Not to worry anyway I am more than happy to use these pages as I have nothing to hide.​

Why thank you very much. I am concentrating on new stamps, but realise that the temptation to expand always exists. I am soon posting my very first stamps (hooray)​

 

I am so happy for you West, congrats again. I can give you some Netherlands stamps, if you like. I can have a look what I have doubled. I could divide it to some members here as well. Just pm me your address

 

That is lovely of you, but I am sticking to my original plan to press. I only have a certain amount of room you see and want my collection to be valuble yet compact.....x​
