Unfortunately, I do the same with books. I buy them faster than I can get them read. So much to read and so little time .

Hello all, my early collection from age 7 to 15 was kept in two SG springback albums, easy to add pages, I still have them back in the UK. My father was in the merchant navy and would write to us and bring back stamps and coins from exotic and not so exotic countries. Now my current Thai collection is in three 64 page stockbooks. Duplicates are kept in dated (yyyy/mm/dd) glassines and these are kept in ziplock bags for each year. The ziplocks are stored in snaplock boxes according to decade. pre 1899 & 1900-1949 are stored in two single snaplocks due to their relative few numbers. The reason why I date my glassines in the yyyy/mm/dd format is that I intend to build a database of my collection and find this the best format for sorting.
    Happy collecting always, James.

Navy stamps would be really fantastic to see! Datelines are a good idea and extremely organised so well done to you and we learn something new everyday!
