Lunar new year stamps?

So this past couple of days was the Chinese new year. Is there anyone here who managed to snag a year of the goat stamp?

 

I do not have any as I prefer those kind of stamps used not mint.

 

Really? Why is that? For these novelty stamps I'd think mint ones are more valuable? Unless it's been signed or something, of course

 

Canada issued two stamps. I have attached the international rate the one on the left is the single copy, in souvenir sheet and the one on the right is the transitional issue from year of horse to year of goat

They cost me $2.50 plus taxes for the single and $5.00 plus taxes for the sheet of two.

 

Yeah, the US just issued (within the last month) the Lunar New Year stamp.

 

That's not too bad, do you intend on adding them to your collection or just to use them? Last year my uncle just got a bunch of the Lunar new year stamps and used them like normal lol

 

Not sure which one is more valuable, I just prefer used stamps over mint stamps. But of course I will welcome any stamps whether used or not.
