It was obviously made to mark the crowning occasion, but still disagree. It doesnt make big difference though, because Knjaz Nikola was a wise and undisputed ruler, who was loved by his nation.

Milan, you are right: Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was the last Shah of Iran. The dynasty was founded by his father,a general,who took power in 1925. Mohammad Reza was married three times. I. to princess Fawzija of Egypt,the sister of King Farouk.(set of 5, issued April 25th,1939 II to Soraya Esfandiary (set of 6,issued Feb.12th,1951) III to Farah Diba (set of 2,issued Sept.9th,1960),who finally could give birth to a boy. Iran,Turkey and Pakistan were members of the R.C.D. (Regional Cooperation for Developement).Many stamp-issues for the R.C.D. exist.The three countries had rather close relations,that is why Pakistan issued a stamp for the Shah´s coronation. The R.C.D.became disfunctional with the Iranian Revolution in 1978.
Here's another stamp from Belgium featuring King Albert II and Queen Paola. It is Sc. 1599 issued November 15, 1995. I recently purchased it for its clear bullseye cancel. This is a large stamp. The Belgian postal service seems to like large format stamps. Maybe we should start a thread of big and "really big" stamps. Don
