    I think Purple is a cool color and is fairly common with US stamps. Lets see some.

    A nice upgrade to the one I already in my airmail binder. It a Scott #C46 depicting Diamond Head in Honolulu, Hawaii.

    Here is a 1962 Australian stamp showing the sadly now-extinct Tasmanian Tiger, so-called because of the stripes in his coat. The last one died in captivity in Tasmania in 1933. QEII32101-2.jpg
