    Looks good to me too. The few times I've had fish & chips I liked it. Good stuff, as is the "traditional" English breakfast.

    Even taste better after a few pints of good English beer.....Although I suspect you will tell me German beer is better.......:happy::happy::happy::happy:
    Few people go to England for culinary highlights...most go for the history and culture....the beautiful women....fantastic weather....and to experience the different British sense of humour.......:happy::happy::p:p:happy::happy:

    Anglobob I couldn't agree more. Although pub food may not be for everyone, I enjoy the chips, the pints and the bird watching too.

    LOL! I can see where they might not appeal to the German palette - but here on the other side of the lily pond, greasy is good (tho not healthy). I had a meal at a little place in Zurich, Switzerland - Emilio's I think - the fare was half a small chicken and French fries! Served with a Swiss wine, of course.
