It's 1941 and Denmark is occupied by the Germans. The Crown Princess is from Sweden and her anti-German feelings are well know. She and one year old Margrethe (later Queen Margrethe ll ) are on a charity stamp for a "save the Children" organization. A stick in the eye for the occupiers and a helping hand to fellow Danes in a stamp designed to rally the country.
She is a cutie....and a very handsome woman as Queen.
