Laos and South Vietnam

    One of my sidelines is the stamps of French colonies but with Laos & South Vietnam I decided to collect them up until the communist takeovers

    Here are a few of the ones that I realy like :) the 1st is only a part set of Views, it was issued in 1951

    This one is a set by the Artist Marc Leguay (I love his art work) the Lady is his 2nd wife Nang Sang Vane and it is the 1st set that he produced in 1952 (He also designed banknotes)

    the Funeral of King Sisavang Vong was depicted rathe well on this set in 1961

    And even as the country was falling under communist rule they still produced works of art in miniture :)

    Unfortunatly with South Vietnam they did not retain the French flair for stamps to the same degree as those in Loas did most of SV output are not realy as colourful nor as artisticly pleasing LOL

    This Album was produced by a Coimputer Program. I don't have the Disc because I bought the Album form a Estate Sale. The Album contains approximentely 300 pages. It's has spaces for 1770 Stamps and there are 272 Stamps already in it. Year is from 1976-2003. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing it.

    Ah unfortunatly it starts were my collection ends, I only collect up to the Communist takeover but thank you for the offer much appreciated

    What was the asking price and what would postage be to Canada
