Today I was reading the January 24, 2011 issue of Linns. As I came to look at the reader's opinions and their often informative responses, I saw something about Costa Rican lottery tickets using reproductions of 1941 stamps (scott 212-16 and C74-80). The colors and sizes of these stamps are similar to the originals. A note is on the bottom stating that the reproductions were authorized by the Costa Rican postal service.

Very interesting, those tickets would be a nice addition to the stamps they depict.

I think it is a cool idea, collectors will have more to collect with that. :)

Hm, I would collect them, in a special place in my stamp album. I find this as a very interesting idea.
  5. This is a a great share. I would love to get my hands on one of those. I am fascinated with everything about Costa Rica.
