    I meant the stamp issues of 1870-1894 not what you was referring to perhaps.

    It's all good. I thought you got angered by my post and I wasn't sure if you was from America or Europe somewhere or where, and I know some countries refer to money as banknotes and if you don't collect USA you may not have known that. That was all I meant.

    if they are pre bureau they don't have the little triangles in the upper right & left of the designs and post bureau do. The Continental & the National banknote engraving Co. done the pre and the Bureau of printing & engraving done the latter. That's a story in itself as that's where the "secret marks" came from.

    Ok here is a few banknotes I got the other day. I really like that 159 and the blue cancel for some reason. I'm really getting enthused about these banknotes. The more I learn the more I want to learn about them. What a fascinating story these issues carry. Enjoy!

    no. in all seriousness I believe I'm going to sell it this spring and move. Not sure where yet though.
