Well I do own a farm and have well over a million dollars in equipment but less than 100. in my pocket! So I ask you- am I a millionaire?
Probably not, although you paid in excess of a million, you would never get that back if you sold all of your equipment. So the way I see things, you are not a millionaire
Absolutely correct! And just because the bank would be willing to finance the farm/machinery & property I certainly wouldn't use it to purchase a stamp...or would I ?? ...hmmmm...LOL You do see my point though correct? I wear no "bling" at all unless of course you consider my platinum wedding band. And to make matters worse I wear Carharts not Armani...lol
How do I tell which are "banknotes"? I believe I have some of the low denominations... I know how to look for a grill, but don't have watermarking fluid.
I have been meaning to ask if you need any 'postage dues'. I have thousands of extra 'arch' types up to $5, and a few dozen of the 'diamond' type in lower denominations.
if they are USA ones i would love some i only have a few in my collection, what could i send you in return?
The banknote issues I'm referring to are the issues right after the US Pictorial issues up to the Columbian issues. Basically from Scott #134 -229 (They have no "triangles in upper right & Left corners) I also need the banknotes after the Columbian issues #246-282c These DO have the triangles in the upper right and left corners but same designs as the latter. Called banknotes because the American Banknote Co. printed them. Same dies as the latter but with the secret marks and such.
Banknotes without the triangles (I digitally erased the columbian issius) I need both the Large Banknotes and small ones. Bureau issued Banknotes (The banknotes with the little triangle do-dads up in the right & left hand corners)
Yes! - I actually could use a variety of them! Just let me know your terms OK? Thank you again Ratio411 Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia that might be helpful to you. here is the full Wikipedia write-up if your interested in learning more. I personally find this fascinating! It's a good read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postage_stamps_and_postal_history_of_the_United_States
I understood fully when you said banknotes. Just dont understand why they call paper money, banknotes???
Specifically the American Banknote co and the Bureau of printing and engraving. There was another on that they bought out but it 's too late for me to be thinking right.
