My favourite horse stamp set:
One of my favourite
threads, as I collect horses of all types.
Here is a cover from Ukraine, and some of my favourite ones featuring the "Brown Ribbon" annual race in Germany, in the 1940s. There was usually a special stamp and postmark for each year.
Then there two stamps of champion Australian racehorse Winx, winner of 33 races straight, including the top tier of 25 Group Ones.

Here is Secretariat, 1972 Triple Crown winner. Won the Belmont Stakes by something like 30 lengths!

Here is the Australian Black Caviar, unbeaten in all 25 starts, including 15 Group One wins, and the Goodwood Stakes in England in 2012.
