Horse carriages on stamps

Two from Hungary from set of 9, 1968 "Horse Breeding on the Hungarian Steppe", one from Guernsey 2013 200th anniversary of West Show, and one from Grenada 1979, 100th anniversary of death of Rowland Hill - Europe Mail coach, set of 4

 

Fascinating to see a combination of a troica and a quadriga like on the
1.40 Forint stamp from Hungary !

 

The "Quadriga",who crowns the top of the Brandenburg-Gate in Berlin.
Built 1789-93 it is one of the most prominent buildings of Germany.
stamp issued Feb.6th,1964; from a set of 3;

 

Issued May 29th,1973,from a set of 3,featuring "Important Theatre- Productions".

Hi everyone, I have quite a large collection of horse stamps, and am envious of many here that I don't have,
However, here is a m/s of the bronze chariots and horses which were discovered in Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tomb along with thousands of terra cotta warriors and horses in China in 1980. The mini sheet and other stamps were issued in 1990, the 10th anniversary of the discovery.

The horse-carriages and mail-trains are gone,sadly !
