Does anyone know anything about this overprint, meaning ect... I can only find one other example of this particular overprint for that series. Its on a 5c blue at seigle auction for a decent sum of money. Is it the overprint that makes it somewhat high in cash value?

It looks like Scott 312 to me. The catalog says the T. S. de C. stands for Tribunal Superior de Cuentas and the color of the overprint may be in orange, yellow, or red. Also looks much like minimum catalog value The newest catalog I have for Honduras is 2001 and it values the stamp at .40 mint, .20 used.

Thanks don. I would have never guessed the abbreviation. I did expect it to not have much cash value, but I certainly like the lettering style used.

It's a nice looking stamp. Superb centering. I'd keep it and try to fill out the set. There are nine stamps with these overprints, not counting the airmails. Two styles of overprints. The higher values are a little pricy, but not that expensive. But, I forget, I'm a WW collector and you may not be.
