It's a definitive stamp from Portugal known as the Cavalinho (”little horse”) series A set of 16 values from 5 centavos up to 50 escudos They came into circulation in 1953 (except for the 30c which was issued in 1957) and as far as I can recall were still in service until around the mid 1970's. They come in 2 types of paper Regular and Fluorescent (1967) the Fluorescent is much brighter and the diffrences can be seen with some ease.
Thanks for the informaton Steve. I have such stamp although not in perfect condition, I still like it. I think the value is not high or just a little more or less of its face value depends on the condition.
Just had a quick look on ebay and seen 2 sets 1 going for $15 and the other for $77 so it is sort of take your pick time. Sorry I can not be of more help
