I have not been able to post, and frankly, was surprised when this posted. I then tried to post a reply, but got another error, and then this site totally crashed and locked up my PC. Now I am back, trying to see if an "EDIT" will take without error. I don't know what I did different that it took this post... ??? It won't let me post again, but is letting me 'edit'... I am at a loss. I have updated EVERYTHING, and this is only a relatively recent thing. The only thing I won't do is change my browser. No other site I go to needs that, and I don't have another browser, or the want to increase the complexity of using my PC. I love this site and would like to continue to contribute, but changing my browser is just too much to ask. I don't understand why it worked great for so long, then suddenly just stopped letting me post. ??? As for the stamps, there is a cool story about how I got them, I posted it on Stamp Community, US Cover forum.
Wow! Those are spectacular looking Civil War covers Ratio411 Glad to hear from you friend! My computer dosen't "like" this site unless I have fully updated Java and run Firefox browser. Actually the only way I can share photo and scans is to use a photo hosting site like Photo Bucket or flicker. I hope this helps some. -Jay Oh the Patriotic cover is one I have never seen before too! Neat! Make sure you research that Confederate Civil War cover to be absolutely that it's authentic! Better safe than sorry.. Having said that though, I LOVE IT!!!
Love the covers but not sure what the problem might be, I use google Chrome and Windows both allow me to use the site ok? Have you contacted Peter he might be able to advise you
