Love the Forever stamps on this site. http://www.valueofstamps.net/us-postal-service-the-forever-stamps/
Welcome to the forum CeliVega. You can find lots of useful threads here, it will be great to see/know some of your collection around.
This link is very useful especially for those who are sending letters worldwide. http://auspost.com.au/apps/international-post-guide.html
Yes there are lots of blogs and websites about stamps. You can also share your favorite link here or perhaps your own blog about stamps if you have.
Nope in all honesty the thought of making a blog about my stamps had never occurred to me, well you learn something new every day.
I also do not have a blog about my stamps. I just downloaded some on photobucket for photos. Maybe someday.
I love stamps and everything but I would find it pretty difficult to write a blog about stamps and such, not to say I am unable to actually be capable to write them, but at the end of the day I don't think that this is really a topic that many who don't collect would find all that interesting.
Interesting topic on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fancy_cancel I think the airplane cancel should be included on the samples.
I love the fancy cancels, that's why I never seem to get enough of those large U.S. banknotes. I'm working on my third sets of National, Continental and American banknotes (of course missing the Scott #164 which is astronomically expensive as well as some of the grilled ones). Many of the used Official stamps have those types of cancels too, I lov 'em. Anyway I almost forgot to post the link I wanted to, interesting information and some nice pics on this one: http://www.friktech.com/stamps/
Thank you to everyone here who posted some links. I will definitely have to check them out. I just joined in here awhile ago so I am always looking for some new information. Such great history that I am learning about, you know?
