To answer my own question, there is the next Carry On film is supposed to be called 'Carry On Philatelising' !!!
When I was a young Stamp collector a friend once told me that he had it from a reliable source that all hinge glue was treated w/ a 'Geek solution' activated by licking. I recall asking him then what was his excuse? YeeHaw from one TX Liberal, H.G.
Don't mean to bring this absurdly comedic repartee` to a screeching halt but in answer to your question: I did have a cousin, Charles Golightly, who unfortunately died when he was young.
Then you are not related to the Charles in this Link : http://voyagesextraordinaires.blogspot.co.nz/2008/06/golightly-steam-rocket.html I collected rocket Covers many years ago, that is why I asked.
Closest to Rocket Covers I have in my collection are Balloon Air Covers. LOL! Definitely Dino-Tech..... file:///Users/harrygolightly/Desktop/balloonair1.JPG
No paper cut here but I tend to lose weight because my fund intended for food goes to the stamps most of the time! I can't help it especially if I'm eyeing a really interesting item. I guess it's the same with everyone, isn't it?
it could have been that way many years ago when i was at college, and then in the army, but as i have got older, and my children have grown up i do have more spare cash available lol but try not to starve yourself for stamps, the collection is no good to you if you are not strong enough to look at them lol
Yes I agree with Steve, you need to eat and keep your strength up so you can sort stamps and type on your keyboard what you have and to ask questions. I have learned this, your question that you ask, there are a few that have the same question. So eat and keep your strength up. LOL
