I once swallowed a stamp hinge and the tension of waiting for it to 'pass' was an experience I never want to live through again. I emerged from it a sad and wiser man
I heard about the woman who swallowed her tongs and they remained lodged in her stomach for 25 years, she only recently had them removed at the age of 74!!!!
I was Philatelising once and remembered I had forgotten to wash my hair. So I washed it and wrapped it in a towel to finish my stamp studies. It dried all frizzy!!!! Never again.
I had already read about that article/news online but I am not aware that she was a Philatelist. Never got paper cut from it yet. Just lost some working time for it. Lol
