    Hello H, nice cover. I can read July 3rd, my granddaughters birthday. Any idea of the year? The pony express stamp is an imperf but I can't read the value. The ten cent green I cannot date. Maybe where the range of dates for the two stamps cross would narrow the date?

    The pony express only operated 19 months from April 1860 to October 1861. The pony express stamps were not printed until April 1861 so that definitely dates the cover to July 3, 1861.
