Though I posted these pictures in an another thread also but they are also appropriate for this one so posting them here too. I posted a Birthday card last month to my brother who lives in USA. I could have wished him over phone or Skype but I wanted him to have a little surprise so that's why I sent him a card by mail. It has 26 stamps (including 1 miniature sheet) on it. Stamps at the rear were used for Registering Post.
Are you trying to upload a picture of a stamp. Im sorry it does not seem to upload for you. What kind of stamp is it. Could you write a description of it.
The prints and the cancel, as well as the stamp really looks nice on this cover. http://postalhistorycorner.blogspot.com/
Here is another one a friend in Singapore sent me that was from his family collection of correspondence from China, Front and back. Jim
Here are 2 interesting covers. The first has an inverted stamp and the sender ( stamp dealer) identified it with a rubber stamp. probably everyone knows the story. If not it is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dag_Hammarskjöld_invert As we know, First day covers are relatively plentiful, but Last Day covers are rare. here is a last day cover for Camanche , Ca. Post office ( including the whole town). Jim
