And this group...or old ladies tea party as you describe it...has more knowledge and information and has many interesting posts. As far as I can see, your main contribution to this group is the continued desire to show you have a nice scanner.....
If this group is not to your satisfaction,I suggest you join another group.
I hear that Stamp Collecting for the Intellectually Challenged is looking for new members.

Sorry this is bad. very bad fake, Margins far to big. details in corners missing. color wrong and most of all if you don't see faults I said. the letters in PETIMUSQUE are much too big and touch the frame. Hows that for posting something useful
    This is genuine certified

I wonder what is the date of today.I always thought the USSR ceased to exist
more than 25 years ago.But probably some people miss her and may even
dream of the good old days when Josef S. was in charge.

Evidently you do not understand English very well or did not take any notice of the earlier post.

I see you changed your post and added "or from front side" which you argued against
If the image is good the silk thread can always be seen from the front otherwise what use as a safety measure when stamp is on cover which is what PO wanted to prevent I have hundreds of the Bayern and all can be seen from the front.

WOW you sure make something simple very complicated
"The broken 3 is not mentioned by Michel,so I believe itis no constant help " you need to read more than just Michel, it is well documented by Kohl, Mueller and others. They would also disagree on some of your other notations but what do they know more than Michel general catalog

    upper stamp: issued July 24th,1851;
lower stamp: issued Oct.1853; I have no good idea, why this stamp looks
like,as it does. But a least it is interesting.

Easy answer it is Van Dyke reprints but good news - still has some value
However the top one does not look OK - probably a good fake - letters are not right

    Silly answer
A reprint (Neudruck) is a reprinted stamp made from the original plate.
Regardless who did perform the reprint, wether authorized by the post or not.

So that means that original dies that were sold or by other means now in the hands of a dealer who then makes unauthorized copies that this makes them legal.
This happened in many countries before 1900. Reprints that are NOT government authorized are FAKES. By your definition these are OK for postal use.
Neudruck may mean reprint but it does not make the stamp legitimate.
In other words it is now a FORGERY - show us all where illegal reprints made with the original dies are listed in ANY catalog

Explain who and where the "classical" periods are defined. By your posts this varies for every country so where is the listing maybe for others the 1840-1940 works fine since SG. Michel. Y&T and Scott all put out 1840-1940 Classic catalogs - but then maybe they just dont know better
