Good morning to you all, I am collecting stamps for over 35 year (from the age of 8 years old). My collection is manly on classical stamps 1847-1880 including (but not only) China ,UK, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, Russia, India, Germany. I need to sell a few stamps in order to purchase new items that I want for my collection. Great collection, Avi! Can I ask a question about selling your stamps? Do you usually get the asking price, do you go by the suggested price, or do you spend a lot of time negotiating for the price you'd like? If I wanted to sell a stamp that's not in mint condition, could I still sell it? Who fixes the prices for stamps that are not in mint condition? Thanks, Judy
Hi Judy, I collect stamps for a long time now and I know the the market price for most of the stamps. My ask price is the market price so I leave a very small room for negotiation regarding the price. Do you plan to sell you collection?
