Century 21 Exposition 1962

    In the auction forum I just listed a link to a First Day Cover posted from the Century 21 Exposition in Seattle. Wondering if anyone from the forum was there or knows of someone who was? But would have to be of a fair age now as the event was 59 years ago!
    I wonder whatever happened to Harold Melloy who posted this, perhpas to himself, for his collection?
    He could still be alive and collecting but if he was how would this cover be on offer?

    The Century 21 Exposition is also known as the "1962 Seattle World's Fair". There were more than 10 million visitors to this world's fair, including myself.

    And did you visit the stamp or post office stand as did Harold Melloy? What do you remember of it?

    Since I was about 16 at the time, I was most interested in going to the top of the Space Needle overlooking Seattle. At that time of my life I was not particularly interested in any stamps.
