Cancel spelling help

    Looks a little like Chicago with poorly formed letters. .

    Might be Don. Did Chicago use a strait line cancel around 1893-1895?

    I don't know, but surely so. Most all post offices had a device with town name for canceling stamps on parcel post and third class matter.

    I looked it up, I found two with an oval with Chicago in side of it. Maybe it was broken at the time it was used. Its interesting.
