Bulgarian stamp

    Is this a stamp with negative, inverted or a 01 lev surcharge?
    Once again, I wasnt able to ID it in scotts cat..

    No,it is neither a negative nor an inverted
    overprint.The stamps was issued in 1895,
    (Oct.25th ?),Scott no.40.

    Colnect lists your stamp as No. 26 with red imprint and value of 1 ст - Bulgarian stotinka. image below.

    Thanks Werner.

    I made a mistake in identifying the stamp design. I determined that it was A5 and searched only for surcharge on A5. It is indeed No.40. Watermark and perforations match.
    When I said negative surcharge, I ment of situation like this when overprint is less value than original stamp. It may not be the best term for that, I admit.
