I'm not a huge auto racing fan, but there are two races that I watch every year. I always tune in for the Daytona 500 and the Indy 500. This weekend is the Indy 500, so let's see some auto racing stamps if you have them. I only have this one.
Here is one that I own, but I got this image off the Internet. https://www.hipstamp.com/listing/scott-2262a-175-cent-racing-car-pnc5-1-mnh-beauty/1272264
Hello all. this set issued by Macau and this pair from Senegal for the 27th Paris - Dakar rally Regards, James.
See that you have looked at the new hipstamp site... a lot of my sellers have migrated from the SG site as well. Not sure what the controversy is... I still 'shop' both sites...
Yes, I try to see what's available online from time to time. Your guess is as good as mine as to what the beef is between SG and Hipstamp.
These stamps remind me of another series I know I have but haven't seen in a long time... need to get into the "Way Back" machine and see if I can find them. But I also realize I did not bring my whole collection down from Tennessee... just the parts that needed the most work. So it might be a couple of months before I get to find them.
Hello all, not strictly racing cars but some stamps depicting British Motor Cars. All of which have of course been used in racing or rallies. Regards, James'
You always seem to have some good ones... I repeat my bid to be your "heir' when you are ready to divest yourself of your collection...
Hello SATX, I'll consider the offer I have these in MNH and FDC's but few in used. I've been buying the yearpack (not the yearbook) and FDC's for the last twenty years or so. Regards, James
I dont have a scanner...so apologies for this image, taken on my ipad. 2001...Ireland. A set of four stamps was issued in sheet form. A booklet was also produced with the same four designs in "self adhesive" form. A miniature sheet showing just one of the designs...Jordan Formula One Car...was also issued. Later the miniature sheet was reproduced with the logo of the Belgian INternational Stamp Exhibition. ...as shown
