Received my APS membership information in the mail today. The APS does not mess around with their envelopes.

Really nice cover Gunny! As a long time APS member I have gotten a few nice envelopes from them. I love the monthly magazine and their stamp store which I frequently check for stamps to fill the holes in my collection. It's great you are considering membership!

Not considering it, did it. I signed up online and they sent a "Welcome Aboard" package in the above envelope.

There's this guy who lives in Lynchburg, VA who puts nice older material on his letters. One time, I got a #645 and a #649 all on the same letter.

    That's a cool idea.

    Hello Gunny:

Glad you joined! Welcome to the club.

I'm also a longtime member (since 1981) who considers the APS a great source of information and, as Hochstrasse noted, stamps from its Stamp Store and Sales Division. I have saved a few of their covers as well.

The APS - now there is a Stamp Store !
My number was 111196 but with moving around on the Planet postal deliverance of the mag become costly and after about 10 years gave it up.
The APS has given me a good service over the years, at that time they had around 55 000 members.
You would do well by them.

Been with APS myself for a number of years but normally paid my membership on-line for 3-years at a time... should probably 'wait' a little next time and see if I get some of those covers. To date, I don't think I got any!
