A 50 year old collector started buying antique items as a hobby, and with time it became a passion. I collect stamps from various countries like US, Canada, Thailand, India, Vietnam. I am an IT guy and I love to collect stamps, coins, banknotes, signatures, rare books. In my collection I do have some high value stamps. I have some errors stamps which I am fond of. I hope I will enjoy this site.

    About the item:
I found an interesting Bahamas stamp with a reverse 'Y' in the alphabet Penny. I was told it a genuine print error. If anyone have information than please pass on to me. Yes, I am selling it and will wait for some more info before I sell. Will appreciate your help.

This one is BAHAMAS #101A 1938-46 1p KING GEORGE VI. You rightly said this error is nowhere mentioned. I will click more picture and share. Thanks for your help.

    Maybe a silly question:
Does the Bahama stamp exist with a "normal" shaped Y as well ?

I have been fond of collecting ink error stamp, sharing the one which I liked. Not a high value stamp but it interest me.
    - Seven cents stamp - ink is spread across the stamp, you need to enlarge the stamp to see the ink.
    - Ten cents stamp - ink drops on the top of the stamp across; you can also see ink drops on alphabet 'd' (Cana'd'a) and 'o' (p'o'stage)
    - 1 dollar stamp - frame has a cut just below alphabet "a" (Can'a'da) and ink is spread at some places.
