I got a heck of a deal on these last nigh/this morning so I thought I'd post them here. What do YOU suppose they are valued at? Just Curious to see if it's about what I paid or not? Now I'm fully aware that these are just #114's (Scott catalog numbers) and they are not valued very high but then again I dadn't pay a lot for them so that's where the quandary is. Thank you for looking! The single..
Scott 2009 Specialized Catalog - Current Value for a #114 on cover is $25. I know you paid alot less than that. What beautiful covers, and thanks for sharing.

I'm trying real hard to keep my cover collection all Civil War era and some BOB stuff and pre 1940 postal cards. I am really starting to love the post cards though.
Nice covers, it made me feel regretful about the covers I had destroyed before to get the postal stamps on it. LOL Thanks that I had learned about covers here on Stamp Exchange.
I wouldn't go feeling too awful bad zararina because, I think we all have been guilty of a "stamp crime" in one form or another throughout the years of learning our hobby!
Yes and believe it or not they were generally disliked by the public and that's why they was discontinued, It's a real shame too because I really fancy these issues.
I also too, Jay. Thats why I am on a mission to finish my pictorial collection. One left, Scott# 120.
That is a hard one to find for both an affordable price and descent centering! Good luck friend see ya when I get home in a few days! -Jeffrey
hey Zararina i have done the same for years, i have been known to destroy a first day cover once or twice just to get the stamps from them, i should be shot lol
Hahaha sounds like a criminal offense in the world of stamps collectors. We should not cry over spilled milk.
